What we collect

• Enquiry details. When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in and whatever you tell us about your project. If you request our free guide we collect your first name and email address.
• Usage data. Google Analytics collects information about how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.
• Security data. Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical information about your browser in order to distinguish real visitors from automated bots.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and quote for work — because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To send you the guide you requested — on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it, and to keep it secure — on the basis of our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic. We do not display a cookie consent banner. If you would rather not be included in our analytics you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers that make the site work, and only so far as they need it:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, security and bot protection.
• Amazon Web Services (SES) — delivery of form notification and confirmation emails.
• Google — website analytics.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards those providers have in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to six years after our last contact with you, so that we have a record of work quoted and carried out. Guide sign-ups are kept until you ask us to remove you. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention period.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format.
